NASCAR Aftermath

Above is a night shot of the traffic headed West through Pell City after the race at Talladega Super Speedway. These cars, trucks and RVs drove for about 40 minutes to get here from Talladega, but, if they drove as fast as Jimmie Johnson when he won todays race, it would have taken them only about four and a half seconds.
Here is a look at their tail lights from the other side of the overpass. I took these pictures from Wolf Creek Road.

I heard there were about 200,000 people at the race this weekend (which was postponed to Monday due to rain).

Oh, and here's good news for the NASCAR drivers: 'Dega's track is being re-paved, starting tomorrow.
